San Juan, La Union, Philippines
Exotic, Millenial, Party - These are the three words I have come up with in describing the beaches of La Union. La Union is a province in the North of Luzon, a 6hr roadtrip from Manila. It is a famous surf spot in the Philippines, a breeding ground for pawikans (sea turtles), and a haven of hip bars and trendy coffee shops.
La Union is a big province which is divided into different towns and cities, but I will only be talking about San Juan, La Union. San Juan town is a famous surf spot and a vacation place for people who want to do roadtrip weekends. It is in the town, where cafes, eco-friendly stores, and the breeding ground of pawikans can be seen. If your lucky enough you might have a glimpse of baby turtles crawling towards the sea, or mother pawikans laying down eggs in the sand.
