FEATURE: 7 CHURCHES VISIT

Visiting Old Churches in Iloilo Province, Philippines

Since it was Holy Week during our planned vacation to Boracay, we decided to do a Church visit marathon in the province of Iloilo.

Iloilo Province is known for its historical old churches and cathedrals. It shows the cool and elegant past of the province especially the Spanish influence during the 1900's.

We started our church visit by going to Lapaz Church. We then moved forward going to south Antique Province passing by Guimbal and Miag-ao. One of the churches that we visited was Miag-ao Church which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is famous because it was made of corals. Jaro Cathedral church is also a popular travel destination known for its miraculous Our Lady of Candles and is one of Iloilo's oldest church.

Disclaimer: We havent remembered the exact name of the churches so we used the name of the city or town the churches are in as substitutes.
